Pre Conference:
COPC: Integrating Medical Home and Community
This pre-conference is a premier event featuring the Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) model as a way of blending medical home and public health to improve the health of communities. COPC as a primary care mode has been recognized throughout the world as a means of caring for individuals and for improving the health of the communities in which they reside. This pre–conference brings together an outstanding faculty that are leaders and practitioners in public health, community medicine, COPC and medical home. They will help participants learn the methods and principles of COPC and medical home that can be applied to their own practices and communities.

The National Summit of Clinicians for Healthcare Justice is a one-of-a-kind event sponsored by many of the major safety-net clinician organizations from across the United States. The two-day event is expected to attract clinicians and advocates from all over the country who will come together to celebrate, acknowledge and highlight the work frontline clinicians do to serve disenfranchised populations in need of basic healthcare in our country. The conference provides an opportunity for clinicians and others to explore cutting edge solutions and to be a part of the vital efforts to make quality health care for the underserved a reality.

Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Texas Board of nursing.
This activity provides 22.75 contact hours.

This activity, National Summit of Clinicians for Healthcare Justice, with a beginning date of September 24, 2010, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 13.50 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
This activity, COPC: Integrating Medical Home and Community Health, with a beginning date of September 23, 2010, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 8.00 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Health Education
Sponsored by the Migrant Clinicians Network, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 22.75 category I contact hours in health education.
